I live life a little out of the ordinary.

Home is an off grid mountain cabin overlooking the cosy village of Meander - aptly named for the twisty path through life that landed me here.

The property I’m privileged to inhabit is hundreds of acres of wilderness perched sidesaddle on Quamby Bluff / lartitickitheker.

Meander, and the Meander Valley, is captivating. A gorgeous pastoral landscape of rolling green hills at the foothills of the gnarly Great Western Tiers, a mountain range renowned as the short walks capital of Australia. Visit at your peril; you’ll fall in love.

Community feels different here. It’s your own cup at the local cafe. A hug from the postmaster along with your mail. Neighbours more like family. Everyone pitching in.
